Caring and Working: Life as a Working Family Caregiver

Nearly 80% of individuals in our workforce today are juggling their career with care responsibilities. There are three main challenges they face: a lack of time, strained finances, and complex emotions. This presentation will talk about all three and what organizations can do to help their employees with this stressful juggle.

    Speaker Bio:

    Kimberly A. Whiter, Ed.D

Kimberly spent over a decade cultivating a career in higher education before joining Elder Care Solutions as a consultant. Her work focused on interprofessionalism and interdisciplinary teams. She was taking a deep look at how professionals from different backgrounds and scopes of practice could come together to do the most good. The founders of Elder Care Solutions had seen that the answers for paying for long-term care existed in a fragmented system of professionals and bureaucracies and needed help bringing the siloed solutions together. That was an interdisciplinary problem!

In 2021, Kimberly became full owner of Elder Care Solutions and personally carries their mission within her heart. She works to make aging and caring for an aging loved one better!
