While working in this position, along with his wife Robin, he decided to open a Fleet Feet Sports store in Roanoke, VA (Robin’s home town) in 2003. As owners of Fleet Feet Sports, together their mission is improve the health of the Roanoke Valley, through providing people with the gear they need for an active lifestyle along with programs to get people moving.

Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke has received many accolades from 2012 Small Business of the Year in Retail by the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce, being recognized in 2013 as one of the 50 Best Running Stores in America by Competitor Group and the 2014 Ubuntu Award, to name a few.

    Saralyn Hamilton, Marketing and Outreach

Her high school basketball team won the Women's North Carolina 4-A state championship in 2000 and she continued playing at Emory and Henry College where she earned her B.A. in Communications and International Business.

After years in the event and facility management world, Saralyn was looking for a new challenge. One of Saralyn's favorite things about Fleet Feet Sports is being able to connect with others in the Roanoke Valley and bringing awareness to the amazing products and services that are offered here at Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke.
