    The election is over.  It is time to move “Forward.”  For our January meeting, Todd Leeson, a partner with Gentry Locke and the Virginia State SHRM Legislative Director, will provide his insights as to the impact President Obama’s reelection will have for HR professionals.  Todd will discuss likely initiatives of federal agencies including the EEOC, DOL and NLRB, and likely court and legislative developments that will directly affect the workplace.

     

    Todd Leeson has over 20 years of experience defending companies in the "alphabet soup" of employment litigation (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA and NLRA). He also regularly handles labor union matters for companies, as well as non-compete disputes that arise with departing executives. He serves on the Council for the Labor & Employment Section of The Virginia Bar Association and is the Legislative Chair for the Virginia State SHRM Council. Todd is rated "AV/Preeminent" by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America in Labor and Employment Law.
