Roanoke Valley SHRM Scholarship
The SHRM Certification Regional Scholarship Program is a flexible awards program designed to assist working Roanoke Valley SHRM members in meeting their professional development goals. Individuals may apply for a Certification Scholarship to cover the expense of the certification and/or a preperation class for either SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
Applicants may specify the amount of money they are requesting up to $3,000.

HR Virginia Scholarship
HRVirginia offers $500 scholarships for HR professionals seeking to further their education and professional development within the Human Resrouces industry. When the application window is open (annually in August/September), you can apply here.
SHRM Foundation Scholarships/Grants
Each year, SHRM Foundation provides over $400,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students studying within the HR field. Additionally, over $200,000 in grants are provded for emerging and established HR professionals seeking to advance their career through conference attendance, credentialing, or certification.
