<h3 class="aligncenter"><strong>Roanoke Valley SHRM Scholarship</strong></h3>

<p>The SHRM Certification Regional Scholarship Program is a flexible awards program designed to assist working Roanoke Valley SHRM members in meeting their professional development goals. Individuals may apply for a Certification Scholarship&nbsp;to cover the expense of the certification and/or a preperation class for either SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Applicants may specify the amount of money they are requesting up to $3,000.</p>

<h3 class="aligncenter"><strong>HR Virginia Scholarship</strong></h3>

<p>HRVirginia offers $500 scholarships for HR professionals seeking to further their education and professional development within the Human Resrouces industry.&nbsp; When the application window is open (annually in August/September), you can apply <a href="https://www.hrvirginia.org/apply-now-hr-virginia-scholarship-application-window-is-open/">here</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<h3 class="aligncenter"><strong>SHRM Foundation Scholarships/Grants</strong></h3>

<p>Each year, SHRM Foundation provides over $400,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students studying within the HR field.&nbsp; Additionally, over $200,000 in grants are provded for emerging and established HR professionals seeking to advance their career through conference attendance, credentialing, or certification.&nbsp; Start <a href="https://www.shrm.org/foundation/scholarships-grants-awards">HERE</a> to take your profession to the next level!</p>
