BIOGRAPHY:

One of the top Human Resource professionals in the staffing industry, Steve Puckett draws on 30 years of experience as an HR practitioner to provide advice, guidance, and training to Express clients on a variety of HR related issues. Steve’s interactive presentation style and energetic delivery keeps audiences engaged during his presentations regarding  today’s top HR concerns. He has a knack for small group facilitation that generates topical conversations among participants as they delve deeper into the following areas:

• Employee relations

• Performance management

• Compensation & benefits

• Training & development

• Regulatory compliance

Steve currently serves as Director of Corporate Human Resources for Express Employment Professionals International Headquarters in Oklahoma City. He works closely with more than 700 Express offices and their clients in the U.S. and Canada. He previously worked for OPUBCO Communications Group, and before that, was involved in HR consulting and banking in the Oklahoma City area.

Steve is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds the designation of SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). He has been selected as an “approved provider” for SHRM and HRCI events. In addition, he is a member of the Oklahoma City Human Resource Society and is on the Executive Board of the Oklahoma City Metro Area Employer Council, having served that organization as both Chairman and Vice Chairman.
