TOPIC:  Programs and Funding Available for Employers and How to Partner with Virginia Blue Ridge Works

Presented by: Morgan Romeo, Director of Workforce Development

Our program will discuss the programs and funding available through Virginia Blue Ridge Works for employers and how to partner.   A misconception of employers is that it is only for the unemployed but we will discuss what is available for the underemployed, the entry level employees and the resources to help organizations grow their people.  Will also review opportunities for entry level workers that need training for more technical roles (ie. Megatronics, leadership/supervisory).

Morgan received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Virginia, and remained in Charlottesville, VA where she began her career in workforce development.
