    The 2020 Form W-4 was released by the Internal Revenue Service in December and there were significant changes. For the first time in decades, employees won’t be asked how many “allowances” they want to claim for each person in the household. These changes took effect January 1, 2020 and all new hires are required to complete the form. Please join us to discuss these changes, as well as, the potential tax impacts to employees.

     

    About Our Speaker

    Denise Nelson graduated Cum Laude from Roanoke College. Prior to starting her career in accounting, she spent 15 years in publishing, digital marketing, and advertising. She has owned several businesses which lead to a career change to accounting and payroll in 2014. She currently owns Abundance Financial Services, specializing in accounting, payroll, and personal financial counseling. She lives in Roanoke with her daughter, two dogs, and a cat. Her hobbies include painting, cake decorating, and collecting rental houses.

    If you determine you cannot attend AND cancel by noon on Monday before the meeting, the chapter will refund your registration fee. If you cancel after noon on Monday, we are unable to provide a refund.
