Legalizing Marijuana: What Does That Mean For The Workplace?

Effective July 1, 2021, recreational marijuana will be legal (within certain limitations) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. On May 25, 2021, we will explore how this new legislation will impact employers. Does the law impact the at-will employment relationship? Can employers discipline employees for marijuana use? Should employers make hiring decisions based on positive marijuana use in a drug test? Join me as we answer these and other questions related to the legalization of marijuana.
