    Speakers:

    Priscilla Skinner, WOTC State Coordinator, VEC

    Priscilla oversees staff who work to verify WOTC target group eligibility applications from employers that hire difficult to employ job seekers. Prior to accepting the WOTC State Coordinator position, Ms. Skinner held the position of Workforce Service Representative within the Virginia Employment Commission assisting job seekers with resume writing, job referrals, job application assistance and Virginia Workforce Connection (VWC) registration assistance. Ms. Skinner completed over 30 years in the private sector Health Insurance space in Medical Claims Processing. Medical Claims Training and Medical Claims Operations Management.

    Kia Parson, Virginia Bonding Coordinator, Virginia Dept. of Corrections

    Kim is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor's Degree in English. She also has a master’s degree in Business Administration. She has spent close to 10 years working with returning citizens to promote successful re-entry into their communities by assisting them with career development, resume building, and current job searching techniques. Kia travels throughout the state of Virginia promoting and teaching individuals with convictions, agency representatives, and employers about Virginia's Federal Bonding Program.
